"Alice Andersen. The princess on the bench" is the first book in the series of the famous Norwegian writer Turyun Lian, published in Ukrainian. In 2015, she was awarded the Bragi Prize for the best book for children and teenagers.

Eight-year-old Alice is very happy about the end of the school year. The only thing ahead is graduation and a performance in which the girl plays a very inconspicuous role. But she is also a stand-in for the role of a princess. So when Helen, the star of the play, is unexpectedly injured, Alice has to play the lead role and speak for the audience. Also, Alisa's classmate Ivar, who also plays in the play, no longer talks to her. What could be worse? It seems that Alice needs to find her hidden talents...
