Pamela Butchart is a Scottish children's author and a philosophy teacher in a secondary school.
She has a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Dundee and became a philosophy lecturer at Harris Academy in Dundee. The author began writing children's books after her fiancé gave her a book on how to write for children.
